How do I create a Team?

It’s simple to create a team! Start by logging into Charity Miles, then select the Team tab (second to the right on the bottom of the screen). To create a new team, click +NEW TEAM in the upper right-hand corner.

Next, enter a team name as either a hashtag (i.e., #TeamName) or handle (i.e., @TeamName). The difference between #TeamName and @TeamName is that we may eventually allow the owner of the @TeamName Twitter handle to administer their @TeamName team.

Once you create your team, invite all of your friends, family and colleagues to join! In the upper right-hand corner of your team page is a gear. Tap the gear and options will display to invite your friends via text or share an invite via Facebook and Twitter.

    Hi Gene, I'm having the same issue. I followed your troubleshooting advice but am still not seeing the button. Is there another way to create a team?

    I have the Samsung Galaxy 8.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall, it still doesn't show up.  I emailed you a screenshot to show what it looks like.  I have also had several other try on their phones, as well.  Unfortunately, all my friends and family have a Samsung.

    I was able to get my co-worker to add a team on her iPhone.  The + sign shows up where it is not on any android phone on any screen with any color background.  I found a solution to my issue, but even if we were able to create teams on the website, that would be helpful.

    Hi Gene,

    My reading group (who are turning into a walking group across the world) want to set up a team but we all have Android Samsung devices.  Could you please advise how we can get a team setup.  Thanks :-)

    Yes, we did the work around - had a friend create the team on her iPhone. But none of us, iphone or samsung can find the team on a search. The team was created >5 hours ago.

    I have a Moto X4 running AndroidOne Oreo 8.1. I can't access the create team button either. Are you still working on this?

    So it appears now that I can add a team, however when I went to create it, it said request time out. I closed the app and opened it back up and now there are 7 instances of the team!? How do I remove 6 of them so it doesn't confuse people?

    I keep trying to add a team, and continue to get an "Error adding team" message. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Any thoughtsI on this?

    I have a Samsung S7 and do not see the Add Team icon. Are you still working on an update that will fix this issue?

    I have an android phone. I do not have the "add team" option in the top right of the team screen. My friend with an iPhone has a newer version of the app than I do. I can't update the app through the app store and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It seems very buggy and has fewer options than the new version my buddy has on the iPhone.

    Still no "add team" option on Samsung Galaxy Note 9! It's been a year and a half since you said a fix would be releasing "soon".
